Late winter

It has been two days now...The lake at York Uni is still frozen. The temperature has gone down to -6 at night and the most it can go is only 5 degrees at 3 pm; a lot of sunny spells indeed...tapi mmg sejuk giler...Time-time ni la...sume extra....makan extra, tido pun extra  We are so grateful to be able to witness this creation of The Almighty Allah SWT.

Mini World Cup 2008

A futsal match organized by OSA (Overseas Students Asso). Many countries took part and this year our team only managed to get 4th place behind Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong. Ok ape...last year 2nd round dah KO.

York Viking Festival

In the month of february each year, York is celebrating the Viking Festival. Being the UK's best city; no doubt that York is packed with tourists during this event. We managed to see more events this year...
We went to one spot at River Ouse where there was a small display about Viking lifestyle. Later, we decided to see what was going on at the castle museum...were lucky to be able to see a drama..The Clash of the Weapon...ala ala Braveheart gitu...It started not long after we arrived at the museum vicinity..wow, it was like being at the right place at the right time...best jugak rupenye...dorang berlakon beriya2...

Let it snow.....let it snow...let it snow...

Snowing....yeppie...  We were really excited to see the ground was fully covered with snow...not that thick though, still we could use the sledge.... 
decided to take as many pics as possible...lama dah tunggu snow ni...furthermore, it won't stay that long.... 
The boys were really excited to play the sledges. Indeed, we have been waiting for this very moment to use them after all these 3 1/2yrs here....akhirnye...
yeppie.... let's do it....
look at my hubby...didn't wanna miss it too...

We had a nite out but it was freezing ...0 degrees or might be negatives...spent only approx. an hour not only becoz of the temp....sbb parking mahal 
at the ice rink

Just don't know what to do...so decided to go to York CC....it's been awhile since the last time we've been here...kalau gi CC pun at times we didn't have the camera with us...
My second child...Ilyas is very 'camera friendly'...
it's a bit hard to make them pose together...

Autumn Foliage

We thought this autum is the best autumn since we've been here
with the colours of the autumn foliage...
just love to see the different colours of the leaves....
Just look at Ilyas... so willingly excited to pose; everytime after the shot, he's just couldn't wait to see the LCD...and once again gave us a 'satisfying' smile....what a great job u've done...
